Lately, I've been having ups and downs, and my opinions seem to be in a state of constant fluctuation.
If other people are our mirrors, and if that is the only way we can learn more about ourselves, are we in a vacuum when we are alone? Do we really need others to know who we are, or do we need others to know who we are in the presence of others' company?
Is solitude bad for self-connaissance? Or is it just a different type of self-connaissance, one that focuses on the individual in a context devoid of others' expectations?
