The huge esplanade of the city comprises three platforms on which buildings were constructed pyramid, so often in the Mayan cities. 10 these way buildings were constructed in symmetrical manner, to the east and west. In the center and south there are some platforms that do nothing to maintain the majestic atmosphere. Seen from afar, oraşiul seems that rises from the sea of green tropical forest. Temples rises gracefully from the jungle, with nearly vertical walls, and corners shaped base, accentuân sensation of height. Roof edges have something specific in Tikal. Ladders to climb on the front stairs without lateral support if the height of buildings increases. Some palaces have cвte only two rows of rooms on the first floor, but were discovered and imposing building with five storeys.
