Anushka Sharma, who is rumoured to be dating her Band Baaja Baaraat co-star Ranveer Singh, was spotted with a ring in the engagement finger at the screening of one of the recent film releases. There were reports about a spat between Anushka and Ranveer during IIFA Awards.The reason being Ranveer's growing camaraderie with Sonakshi Sinha during rehearsals. So has Ranveer resolved her insecurities with a band on her finger?

Earlier, the duo reportedly locked lips during Shahid Kapoor's birthday bash. However, the actor's manager denied all the reports. “Anushka isn’t going around or engaged, to clear the air,” the manager told. Is wedding on the cards? Time will tell!

Singh, Sharma part ways after IIFA

Anushka Sharma has apparently taken a strong decision of her life - she will not be a part of gossips related to her and Ranveer Singh from now on. The situation between the two love birds got serious at the IIFA event when Ranveer gave more importance to Sonakshi Sinha. An insider said, Ranveer and Sonakshi have become closer to each other. During the event Ranveer also had an act with Sonakshi.

"The morning after the event, Anushka and Ranveer were seen yelling at each other. While Ranveer felt Anushka was ignoring him and paying more attention to Shah Rukh, Anushka fired at him for being too nice to Sonakshi. After the fight, they refused to talk to each other."

Sinha grooves with Singh at Toronto

These days luck is not in Anushka Sharma’s favour. Her weekend began on a bad note and this kept getting worse.

Firstly, she had to fly to Toronto alone as Ranveer Singh was not free. Secondly, at the last moment she was replaced by Sonakshi Sinha to dance along with Ranveer at the event.

Despite her rehearsals, the organizers felt that Sonakshi was better than Anushka. The organisers stated that they did not want to take a chance as Anushka Sharma was not that well prepared.

The newbie had confessed on a television show about her crush on Ranveer Singh. She also stated that provided Ranveer is single she will love to date him.

Finally, Sonakshi Sinha gets Ranveer Singh. Things turned worse when actress Lisa Ray mispronounced Anushka’s name as Anushka Shankar.

She was immediately corrected by Karan Johar. Things changed when Ranveer after accepting the award thanked Anushka for making him hot.

Anushka Sharm & Ranveer Singh are still together

Looks like Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh have decided not to hide their relationship anymore. At least that's what their antics at Shahid Kapoor's birthday bash on Saturday night suggests. The pair, who came together, were holding hands, and had their arms around each other for the better part of the night. Later into the night, they burned up the dance floor together.

There was no doubt in anyone's mind that they are more than "just friends", as they claim. A few glasses of wine later, they threw caution to the wind, and were seen smooching in an uninhibited manner. Their public displays of affection shocked everyone present, and their devil-may-care attitude was the talk of the town the following morning.

Rumoured to be an item, hot couple Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma had a blast on New Year's eve, TOI has learned.

The couple (they categorically deny seeing each other, much like Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra) spent their first New Year together partying the entire night and hooking up with common friends. After the exhaustive bonding session, Ranveer dropped Anushka to her place before heading to his house in Bandra. We hear Anushka's mother is fond of Ranveer and was happy that her girl was with the star in the making because he is sensible and caring.

A source close to both actors said, "The two were inseparable. Seeing their chemistry, we are wondering about the exact nature of their relationship. On 31st, they were working on the script of an awards show that they are hosting. After that, they went to director Shaad Ali's residence and made a grand entry. Throughout the night, Ranveer and Anushka did not leave each other. It was obvious that they wanted to spend time together and so when they were leaving, no one made a scene." Ranveer could not be contacted, but Anushka's spokesperson said, "They are great friends and do hang out together... so basically no one should read between the lines and look at this more than required."
