Imran Khan wants Delhi Belly 2

Imran Khan wants Delhi Belly 2Imran Khan needs Delhi Belly 2Imran Khan, the film’s lead actor, is all for the film’s sequel. At the same time, Khan maintains that the sequel shouldn’t be rushed into. A proper script that justifies the need for a sequel should be put in place first.

“Delhi Belly ended on a note that leaves the scope for a sequel. If and when Akshat Verma (writer) and Abhinay Deo (director) come up with a script, I would love to be a part of it,” Imran says. Imran also doesn’t mind the generous use of expletives in the dialogues, which will be in the sequel as well, whenever Delhi Belly 2 is made. Presently, Imran is looking forward to the release of his next film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan with Katrina Kaif. Imran recently said that Katrina is the most hardworking actress he has worked with so far. Meanwhile, coming back to Delhi Belly 2, we’re sure opinions will be divided over whether the sequel should be made or not. So we ask you. Do you want Delhi Belly 2? Or do you think ‘shit’ shouldn’t ‘happen’ again?

Kiran Rao defends the song D K Bose

Producer Kiran Rao stated that the lyric of D K Bose is just fine. There is nothing wrong in it. It is just a name like that of Munni or Sheila.

The director of Ra One, Abhinay Deo was pretty upset with the lyrics of the song and stated that it is likely to have a wrong impact on children.

He is even shocked as to how can a responsible producer like Aamir Khan include such a song in his upcoming home production Delhi Belly starring his nephew Imran Khan in the lead role.

Kiran further added that the lyric of the song is funny and it talks about a loser who is not lucky enough. The filmmakers had no intention of hurting anybody.

If one has a problem with the lyrics of the song he/she better not listen to it. Delhi Belly is a bold film.

It has received an A certificate from the censor board and it is scheduled to hit theatres on 1st July.

Kareena gives Imran a cool make-over

Kareena gives Imran a cool make-overKareena Kapoor will play the role of Imran Khan’s hairstylist in Karan Johar’s upcoming flick “Short Term Shaadi”. In the film Imran will sport two looks.

In the first half he will adopt a formal look and a funky look in the second half. A source stated “Imran plays a rigid, conservative and fussy architect in the film, who falls in love with Kareena Kapoor, a liaison which changes him completely.”

“Kareena plays a hairstylist who teaches him about life and love. The film has been shot in Las Vegas and India and will be directed by Shakun Batra.”

To give authenticity to her role, Kareena learned some hairstyling techniques from her personal stylist Pompy.

In real life however, it is Imran’s close friend Ayesha, who styles his hair for all his films. Imran stated “The film takes place in a compressed time frame of a little more than a week and deals with how my character changes within that short span of time.”

“In the first half, my character is prim, proper and very fussy about the way his life should be. I wear starched, neatly ironed outfits and formal three-piece suits with polished shoes.”

The actor said further, “My hair is always neatly combed. Kareena enters my life and gives me a cool makeover and a different, spicier hairstyle.”

He said, “She comes into my dull and drab life like a breath of fresh air and makes me see things differently.”

In the act Ranbir dressed himself in a red dress, plaits and red lips like Aishwarya Rai and Imran Khan on the other hand dressed like Hrithik with long hair and flat.

The duo had also been a hit pair in the 2009 Filmfare Awards ceremony where they spoofed the veteran Khans.

Seeing this the Bachchans burst out in laughter especially Abhishek. But this year they were not much amused.

Imran gets 16 slaps from Katrina to construct the scene perfect

Imran gets 16 slaps from Katrina to construct the scene perfectImran Khan seems to be following his mamu, Amir Khan’s steps in becoming a perfectionist, but what he didn't expect was that he might have to get slapped 16 times instead of just once and pay the price for being the “perfect” one.

In ‘ Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ starring Imran Khan and opposite to him, Katrina Kaif, the actor had to take 16 slaps from Kaif during one of its shoots and what is more surprising is that the scene from the scrip required just one slap but it was Imran himself who insisted that Katrina should slap him more, infact 16 times.

When Katrina was asked about this strange request of Imran, she replied that she would have slapped just once and moved on but Imran insisted that it should be more realistic and called a boy to count the number of slaps and it had to 16 precisely not more not less. She didnt even know why he had to be slapped 16 times exactly.

Even though this request of Imran came as a surprise to Katrina, she is not very proud of slapping him so many times but she definitely is happy about the slaps being completely real and authentic. It is weird seeing Imran’s sheer interest in getting slapped so many times, would he have done the same had it been a kissing scene ?

Katrina Kaif injured on the sets of Yash Raj Film

Katrina Kaif injury on the sets of Yash Raj FilmBollywood beauty Katrina Kaif suffered an injury on the sets of Yash Raj Film's untitled project with Imran Khan. The film is being shot at Pataudi Palace in Haryana. The actress was hurt during filming and ended up with a bloody nose, due to an error of judgment on her co-star's part.

Strangely, she was hurt in the same spot where she'd been previously injured during the shoot of Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani when Ranbir accidentally landed a blow on her face. A source from the sets reveals what happened. "They were shooting a funny scene in which Imran is holding a gun in his hand and Katrina is by his side. He had to move around and pull Kat toward him with the other hand. But while shooting, he accidentally smashed the barrel of his gun on Katrina's nose. It happened in a split second and her nose started bleeding.

"Everyone panicked because there was blood oozing from her nose. The shooting stopped and she was escorted to the vanity van. A doctor was called on the set and she was administered first aid. After a while the bleeding stopped, but she was still in pain," said a source.

"Yes, I got hit in the same place as I did during Ajab. I am pretty bruised but the staff feels it's good luck for the film. But it was a funny scene so I think it was worth it."

Sonam Kapoor : Imran is sexy

The joshing and joking between Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor only goes to show that they are the next hot couple of Bollywood. Moreover, the duo has got a thumbs-up from critics as well. Their chemistry is the USP of this Friday release I Hate Luv Storys. No wonder they can’t stop complimenting one another, when they are not pulling each other’s leg, that is in a latest report

Sonam says that when she first saw Imran in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, she found him “hot”. She loved his ripe lips and Maybelline eyelashes. But Imran is quite dismissive about himself. He doesn’t think he’s sexy. “I think he is (sexy). In fact, Imran is gorgeous,” Sonam is quoted as saying. However, Sonam was quick to add that she likes John Abraham’s butt better. Well, now Imran has something to work on.

I Hate Luv Storys - Review

The first thing that attracts you to I Hate Luv Storys is its title. Let's face it, we adore love stories... at least I do.

We idolise the characters decades after the movies have come and gone. The songs that come on our lips instantly while playing a game of antakshri are romantic songs as well.

In fact, the biggest moneyspinners, let's face it, have been love stories, right?

So how can we 'hate' a love story? No matter how mushy or cheesy they are, we find Love stories irresistible because of the tremendous rush we experience at the end.

Some of us are big suckers for love sagas, aren't we? That's precisely the reason why this title (I Hate Luv Storys) nagged me no end every time I watched the promo of this film.

Helmed by first-timer Punit Malhotra, I Hate Luv Storys is aypical candyfloss romance with.

A story that's not jaw-droppingly different, let me forewarn you. But if you're young at heart or a diehard and hopeless romantic.

You'd lap up I Hate Luv Storys like a kid laps up his fav candy. Now to the vital question: If I Hate Luv Storys rests on a thin plot.

What is it that drives the film for the next two hours? My answer to that is, four factors: The fresh pairing and chemistry between the lead cast, tremendous youth appeal, terrific music and magical moments that make a love story work.

Final word? The makers have never claimed that I Hate Luv Storys will change the face of Hindi cinema. Nor did they ever claim that I Hate Luv Storys will change the mindset of the viewer towards romantic films. So let's sit back and enjoy the fun ride. This one's by the youth, for the youth. It's this age-group that would come out smiling, cheering and rooting for this prem kahani.

'I hate love stories' is the maxim Jay (Imran Khan) lives by. But as an assistant director to Veer (Samir Soni), the most famous romantic film-maker of Indian film industry, Jay has little option but to live with larger than life, glossy, cinematic love on an everyday basis. Things only get worse when he is made to work under the new production designer on the film, Simran (Sonam Kapoor), with whom he shares the strangest first encounter.

Simran loves love stories, so much so that even her life has begun to resemble one. With her ideal job and the perfect boyfriend Raj (Samir Dattani), she lives a blissful, dreamy life. One that is rudely interrupted by Jay's cynicism.

Writer-director Punit Malhotra wins Round 1 by casting the right actors in the roles of Jay and Simran. In fact, it wouldn't be erroneous to state that the casting is the trump card of this film. But what Punit ought to know by now is that every story ought to have a strong grip to keep your attention arrested for the next two hours. In this case, the film rests on a waferthin plot, with not much movement in the story in the first hour. In fact, the story barely moves in the first part.

Yes, post-interval, the story does gather momentum and though you're well aware of the journey and what the culmination will be like, you don't mind the ride because you can't take your eyes off Imran and Sonam. Also, a love story works if one pines for the on-screen lovers and in I Hate Luv Storys, you genuinely want the duo to sort things out, which means that you're involved in their lives. Even the finale - it won't be fair on my part to reveal how this movie concludes - may be filmy or cliched, but let's face it, it works.

Let me draw parallels with another love story, also starring Imran Khan. Recall the finale of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, which had Imran riding a horse to reach his sweetheart (Genelia) at the airport. I distinctly recall, a lot of people found the end bizzare and rightly so. Can you imagine anyone galloping to the international airport in Mumbai? But I was truly surprised when I learnt that the youth were whistling and clapping all through. The finale is different here (no horses, please) and you exit the auditorium with a smile on your face.

Director Punit Malhotra is heavily inspired by Mills & Boon novels and several Bollywood films... love stories all. But like I pointed out earlier, Punit needs to polish his writing skills, although the director in him bails the writer out and takes the film to a different level.

The sequences between Imran and Sonam are well penned, but the ones between Sonam and her parents or Sonam and Samir Dattani are half-baked. Directorially, Punit shows super-confidence in moulding the two actors in their respective parts, so much so that you get sucked into Jay and Simran's world after a while.

Deepika miffed as Imran orders Ranbir to get ‘chai’ for him!

While actor Ranbir Kapoor recently made the effort to clear the air on his supposed rivalry with heartthrob Imran Khan, the latter apparently didn’t think twice before taking a dig at the Kapoor scion, and that too in front of Ranbir’s ex-lover Deepika Padukone.

But there’s a twist to this tale!Apparently, one lightman in the crew of Imran-Deepika starrer ‘Break Ke Baad’ is called ‘Ranbir’. While Bollywood’s young icons Imran and Deepika were shooting.

On the sets of their upcoming flick ‘BKB’, Imran tried to play naughty as he ordered Ranbir (the lightman) to get tea for him! Our source reveals that whenever Deepika was around, Imran would naughtily call out to Ranbir (the lightman) and say, “Ranbir light fix kar. Ranbir chai la.” However, Deepika got peeved and asked the actor to stop teasing her. Nevertheless, Imran gave in to Dips’ request and immediately slipped back to his well-mannered self!

Mad-in-love Imran gets engaged to girlfriend

Imran Khan has finally got engaged to his long- time girlfriend Avantika Malik. The ceremony took place at Karjat on the outskirts of Mumbai on Saturday.

Imran and Avantika - who had been dating for eight years before getting hitched - were always open about their relationship and prepared for their engagement with much excitement.

Preparation for the grand day took place months in advance, ever since Imran proposed Avantika in June. Imran made sure that the day was made special and memorable with many treats for his girl, which included a red Beetle car.Imran even designed the engagement ring himself for his lady.

"We did not want to go in for the usual invitation cards. So, we ordered special invites from a company in the US. It was a sand- filled bottle which had the invite scroll inside." But two weeks after the 'cards' were shipped to him, Imran received a similar invite for a party by a leading paper.

Apparently, he wanted to scrap the idea at the time thinking it was not as innovative as they thought it would be. But they went ahead with it eventually. A little birdie also told us that Imran was extremely choosy about the food and drinks to be served on the occasion. He also flew in cooks from Lucknow as he wanted authentic Lucknowi food for the occasion, considering the fact that most of his immediate family is from the city.
